What the Finance Committee Does
💰 Budget Review
Reviews the Town Manager’s proposed operating budget and makes recommendations to the Town Council on spending levels.
📊 Capital Planning
Evaluates the capital improvement plan, including major infrastructure projects like the CWMP.
🔍 Fiscal Oversight
Monitors the town’s financial position, reserves, debt levels, and long-term fiscal sustainability.
📋 Public Reporting
Publishes annual reports on the town’s fiscal health and makes recommendations at public hearings.

The Finance Committee meets as needed, with intensive sessions during budget season (November through March).
